    Family name behind the work

“We'll repair when we can and replace when we should.”

David Mobley, co-owner, Lebanon office

A family name. A lasting responsibility.

The right work, for the right reasons

Brothers Mike and David Mobley built this roofing business in Tennessee in 2007. For 19 years the work has started with one question: what does this property actually need? Sometimes that is a targeted repair. Sometimes it is a new roof. David's son Martin is part of the business now, carrying the family name into its second generation.

What we do

Roofing, gutters and siding for homes and commercial buildings

Architectural shingles, metal roofing and commercial systems give our crews options across homes, churches and business properties. Every job starts the same way: find the real problem first.

How a Mobley Brothers job works

Decisions backed by explanation

Start with the concern. Explain the finding. Give the next step. That is how we talk to homeowners, and it is how we run a job, whether you called about a drip in the kitchen ceiling or an aging roof that keeps asking for attention.

  1. 01

    Measure, then look

We measure your roof from satellite imagery and build the proposal from that. We look at the roof in person before install day, and sooner if you have a concern or the house is older.

  2. 02

    Show the evidence

We photograph what we find, including hidden conditions like damaged decking, so you can see why something needs attention.

  3. 03

    Put it in writing

You receive a written proposal. Possible decking or skylight work is addressed up front, so there are no surprises on install day.

  4. 04

    Protect the property

We plan protection around your home, landscaping, gutters and equipment, using Catch-All protection equipment where required.

  5. 05

    Stay involved

Mike and David Mobley remain involved in the business. If something about the work concerns you, call us. We want to understand it and make it right.

Wide view, close detail

What a good roof looks like before the shingles go on

Most of what makes a roof last is hidden by the time the job is done: the decking, the underlayment, the flashing where the roof meets a chimney or a wall. We photograph it, so you see it too.

FAQ

Questions we get asked first

Straight answers, the way we would give them on your driveway. If yours is not here, call the office and ask.

More questions we get asked

Which office serves my home?

Our Lebanon office serves Middle Tennessee, including Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, Gallatin, Hendersonville, Hermitage and the communities around Nashville. Our Knoxville office, in Hardin Valley, serves East Tennessee, including Knoxville, Farragut, Oak Ridge, Powell, Maryville and nearby towns. Call the office closest to you: Lebanon at (615) 455-3131 or Knoxville at (865) 205-0800.

Will you tell me if my roof only needs a repair?

Yes. Our motto is to repair when we can and replace when we should. We trace a leak to its source, photograph what we find, and explain the options. Many of our customers called about a leak and learned they needed a targeted repair, not a new roof. When replacement is the more responsible choice, we explain why and put it in writing.

Are you licensed and insured in Tennessee?

Yes. Mobley Brothers Roofing & Renovation holds Tennessee contractor license 59116 and is fully licensed and insured. We are a GAF Master Elite residential contractor and a GAF GoldElite commercial contractor, a HAAG certified residential roof inspector and a certified FORTIFIED Roof installer. Both offices are BBB accredited with an A+ rating.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We offer free estimates and free roof inspections. We measure the roof from satellite imagery, send a written proposal, and look at the roof in person before install day, or sooner if you have a concern. If decking or skylight work might be needed once the old roof is off, the proposal says so before any work starts.

Do you handle emergencies?

Yes. Both offices answer or return calls day or night. If water is coming in, call the office nearest you and tell us where you are seeing it. We will talk through the next step and arrange to get the leak under control. Nobody can work safely on a roof at midnight in a storm, so we get you the first safe daylight visit.

Is financing available?

Yes. Financing is available upon credit approval, with credit and loans provided by Regions Bank. Ask either office when you request your estimate, or check your options on our financing page.

Trusted like family.

Tell us what you are seeing. We will find the real problem.

Free estimates, photos of what we find, and a written proposal before any work starts. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week, with calls answered or returned day or night. On-site response depends on weather and safe working conditions.
