If you need a new roof and know you want GAF roofing products, it should only make sense that you hire one of the GAF approved roofing contractors. After all, you wouldn’t want the Kia dealership working on your Audi, would you? The same philosophy should apply to your roof replacement for its installation, maintenance and repair.

### Certified and Master Elite™ roofers

GAF has two types of GAF approved roofing contractors; Certified and Master Elite. Both have passed background checks and have more training specifically geared to GAF products than just any roofer. All are licensed and insured in the areas they work. However, only some roofing companies take the time for the additional training, invest in their business and pass the stringent checks to become Master Elite GAF approved roofing contractors.

### Why choose Master Elite

Only Master Elite roofers can offer the industry leading warranty called the Golden Pledge® limited warranty. There are requirements that your roofing company installs a roofing system to a roof deck (no overlays). They also must use GAF approved accessories as well as proper roofing nails. This warranty provides some of the best coverage in the industry including protection from:

- Wind
- Staining
- Misapplication
- Manufacturer issues

The term of the warranty varies depending on the product you choose. However, they all come with the full assurance that your new roof is properly installed and ready to protect your home for years to come.

### Pests Can Get In

Even the smallest of openings is an invitation to pests. If a swarm of bees finds a way into your home, you’ll have a big problem to deal with before you can call roofing companies in Nashville, TN to make the roof repair. You’ll need a specialist to get rid of the bees. If the hole gets big enough, you may end up with rodents. Often rodents bed down for the winter or have their babies in your insulation. This can lead to a terrible smell and needing new insulation. Sometimes they die in your attic which is not good either. The worst case is that the damage your wiring and you end up with an attic fire. Chances are the damage is just getting worse and you’re going to pay more.
